Kurt Griffiths, one of our highly experienced and dedicated Service Technicians, is known for his problem-solving skills and takes great satisfaction in diagnosing and fixing what’s wrong with a forklift — it’s that feeling of getting things working again that keeps him motivated every day.
While the Auckland traffic might be the toughest part of the job, Kurt’s commitment never wavers. He proudly says that SG Equipment has taught him everything he knows, and even after all these years, he still finds himself surprised at how technical some jobs can get — a reminder that there’s always more to learn in this industry.
Kurt values the sense of teamwork at SG, describing the work environment as supportive and collaborative. When he’s not on the job, you’ll find him enjoying his passions for cars and fishing — and if he’s heading out for a break, it’s a flat white in hand.
Currently upskilling, Kurt is working towards completing his auto electrical qualification and is also in the middle of rebuilding his car — a true reflection of his hands-on nature and drive to keep learning.
